Exhibition in Kuwait Showcases Historic Qurans
KUWAIT CITY (IQNA) – An exhibition, held on the sidelines of Kuwait’s 12th international Quran competition, showcases a collection of historic copies of the Holy Quran.
The event aims to provide information about the stages of writing the Holy Quran verses down in the course of the history.
Kuwait’s 12th inauguration international Holy Quran competition began on Wednesday.
As many as 121 Quran reciters and memorizers from different countries are taking part in the international event, which will run through November 15.
The contenders compete in five categories featuring memorization of the Holy Quran, recitation, and Tajweed at different levels.
