Registration Begins for 4th Stage of Nat’l Quran Memorization Plan
Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Mohammad Kazem Mousavi, secretary of the organization’s Quran Memorization Plan, said 350,000 individuals across the country can sign up for the courses in the 4th stage.
He added that those interested can refer to Awqaf departments in their province for registration.
Hojat-ol-Islam Mousavi said 300,000 individuals took the courses in the third stage, predicting that 200,000 of them will manage to get a certificate of completion after passing the final examination successfully.
The national Quran got underway in Iran four years ago after the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution called for training ten million Quran memorizers in the country.
In addition to the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization, a number of other government bodies including the Education Ministry, the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, and the Culture Ministry contribute to the implementation of the plan.
