Hazrat Zeynab (SA) Clinic Opens in Karbala

Hazrat Zeynab (SA) Clinic was opened in the holy city of Karbala by the Committee for Reconstruction of Holy Sites in Iraq.


A medical clinic named after the heroine of Karbala Hazrat Zeynab (SA) has been opened in the holy city of Karbala.

It has been set up by the Iran-based Committee for Reconstruction of Holy Sites in Iraq.

Addressing the opening ceremony of the new clinic, head of the committee Hassan Pelarak said the main objective of the clinic is to provide the pilgrims of the holy shrines in Karbala, particularly Iranian pilgrims, with health services.

He also appreciated the cooperation of Iranian and Iraqi physicians working at the clinic.

Pelarak said some 20 members of the medical team of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences specializing in various fields of medicine have voluntarily cooperated in setting up the clinic.

Besides heath services, the doctors and nurses of the clinic will also provide Iraqi people with consultation and necessary training, he added.

The 1000-squar- meter clinic has been established in the ground floor of Seyyed-ol-Shuhada (AS) Complex in the holy city of Karbala.
