News ID: 1345538
For the fifth year in a row, Imamia Medics International (IMI) is coordinating a medical mission in Iraq for this Arbaeen.

IMI’s plans at Arbaeen this year include medical services in Karbala through 2 medical camps, one at Babel Qibla and the other in the Haram of Hazrat Abbas (AS).

At each of these locations, teams operate in groups by shifts. At each of the two main Karbala camps they have 2 groups of doctors who will provide medical services in shifts each to allow each camp to run for most of the day.

Each camp also has separate care areas for men and women. Additional medical services will also be provided at Al Safeer Hospital where doctors with specialties provide some clinical and surgical care. A similar set up will be coordinated for the IMI Medical Camp in Najaf as well where IMI will once again run a 4 day medical camp inside the Haram of Imam Ali (A.S.) during the Shahadat of Prophet Muhammad and Imam Ali Reza (AS )

Tentative dates for the Medical Mission are: Karbala Camps only: December 16 – December 26th, 2013

And Karbala & Najaf Camps: December 16 - January 4th, 2014.
