The idea of organizing the Quranic event there was raised by the Quran and Etrat Deputy of the city’s Culture and Islamic Guidance Department and welcomed by the Astan-e Quds Razavi, the custodianship of the mausoleum.
Officials from the Astan and the culture and Islamic department held a meeting on Tuesday to discuss organizing the event.
Seyed Morteza Bakhtiari, the deputy chief of the Astan, said at the meeting that 8000 meters of fair ground has been allocated for hosting the exhibition.
The international Quranic expo will be underway in the holy city during the holy month of Ramadan for ten days, starting from June 1.
