TEHRAN (IQNA) – One of the booths in Restu Global Quranic Arts Festival tries to raise awareness about Palestine and its culture among Malaysian visitors.

“We aim to introduce the Palestinian culture and issue to Malaysian people,” Ryan Abdullah, a representative of the Palestinian culture center in Malaysia, told IQNA on Wednesday at Nasyrul Quran Complex, Putrajaya.

The arts festival has been organized by Restu Foundation and foreign partners including the Iranian Cultural Center in Malaysia. Kicked off on January 20, 2023, four countries participated in the 10-day event.

According to Abdullah, a seminar is set to be held with online participation of activists from the besieged Gaza Strip.

A program for teaching Arabic language will also be held, he said.

“We tried to give beneficial information about Palestine, its culture, and Al-Aqsa Mosque to those who visit our booth,” he said.

“Despite other booths, we do not sell anything as items, including a replica of Al-Aqsa mosque and old footage of the mosque, are only for show,” he added.

He called on artists of the Muslim world to enhance cooperation for holding similar events across the world.
