Riyadh Quran Expo Wraps Up, Attracts More Than 20K Visitors
Organized by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, and the General Secretariat for Exhibitions and Conventions and King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran, the exhibition kicked off on January 13 for 10 days, Sayidaty.net reported.
Displaying efforts and developments in the field of printing the Quran, translation of the Holy Book, improving the quality of printed works, as well as building initiatives that help develop efforts to serve the Quran and people have been named as aims of the event.
The exhibition narrated the story and stages of establishing the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran in Medina and a set of corners that show information on the annual and total prints of the complex, as well as stages of printing the Holy Quran.
According to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, more than 20 million copies of the Quran have been printed in the complex in the past two years.
The exhibition also put on display the complex's productions of all copies with all narrations and interpretations in all languages, so as to enable visitors to check on the complex's efforts in printing the Holy Quran in Brail Language, in addition to offering hospitality services for visitors, where every visitor receives a copy of the Holy Quran.
