Quran Memorizers Honored in Gaza
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A ceremony was held in the city of Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip to honor school students who have memorized the Holy Quran.
A total of 350 students who have learned the entire Quran or part of it by heart were lauded for their achievement at the event on Friday.
The Holy Quran is the only religious Scripture that is memorized by its followers.
Innumerable persons in every Muslim community have memorized the Quran since the first day it was revealed.
The Quran has 30 Juzes (parts), 114 Surahs (chapters) and 6,236 verses.
