Quran Recitation Program Held at Imam Reza Holy Shrine

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Quran recitation program was held at the holy mausoleum of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad, northeast Iran, on Wednesday.

A number of internationally recognized Iranian Qaris, including Hossein Poorkavir, recited the Quran at the event, organized on the occasion of Imam Reza (AS) birthday anniversary.

A Tawasheeh (religious singing) performance by Valiasr Group was among other parts of the program.

Imam Reza’s (AS) birthday is celebrated on the 11th day of the lunar Hijri month of Dhul Qaada, which falls on Friday, July 3, this year.
