16 Volumes of Ayatollah Marefat’s Quran Interpretation Published So Far

TEHRAN (IQNA) – So far, 16 volumes of the Quran Exegesis “Al-Tafsir Al-Asari Al-Jame” by late Ayatollah Mohammad Hadi Marefat have been published, an official said.

Speaking to IQNA, Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Hassan Javaheri, head of the Quranic Research Department of the Islamic Culture and Thought Research Center, said four more volumes of the grand work are also being prepared for publication by the center.

He added that the center is also working on a grand research project featuring the miracles of the Quran.

Ayatollah Marefat was a prominent Iranian Shia scholar and Quran researcher.

He taught Islamic and Quranic sciences at Shia seminaries for more than 30 years.

‘Al-Tafsir Al-Asari Al-Jame’, Al-Tafsir and Mofasserun (interpretations and interpreters), and ‘Al-Tamhid fee Olum-ol- Quran’ are among his books.

Ayatollah Marefat died in January 2007.
