TEHRAN (IQNA) – The holy cities of Najaf and Karbala in Iraq hosted ceremonies on the occasion of the birthday anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (SA) on March 8 and 9.

According to Al-Kafeel website, one of the programs planned on the auspicious occasion by the Astans (custodianships) of the holy shrines in Iraq was the second edition of an annual cultural international festival titled “Spirit of Prophethood”.

Organized by “Kafeel” schools of women at the holy shrine of Hazrat Abbas (AS) in Karbala, it started on March 8.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, Seyyed Ahmad Safi, custodian of the holy shrine, elaborated on some of the virtues of the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) daughter.
